EMERGENCY! 2 Day old Duckling struggling to breathe/foaming

Our shipment of ducks arrived today and one just started foaming at the mouth. Should I stroke upward? Downward? Water? No water? I feel like there is conflicting info...or maybe I’m just panic reading...

I would say yes on the water but hopefully someone will come by that is more knowledgeable.

Everything I have read says it's possibly food stuck in there somewhere..nostrils or throat.

Just dip tip of bill into warm water. Always give warm water first week of their lives. See if it will take some sips. Was their gro gel added to their box? @corkse01

Yes on the warm water, we will do that. Thank you! And yes to the gro gel. He is seriously on the struggle bus. There was also something about plugging nostrils and then blowing into their beak, but honestly that seems difficult with his small size.

The water helped, he’s improving! He’s acting more normal!
