I checked it about every 6 hours almost. I felt of him, a couple inches above him, and his goose.

I am so sorry about your baby chick. We all were so excited for him. That is heartbreaking news. I wonder why he got worse. My sympathies to you.

At least you got some experience from this for the future.

With wounds, yes that was the last chick. But Mom still has the 4 healthy ones.

If she goes broody again. We are giving her another chance, but if they wind up like the ones that didn't make it. No more babies for her!!
