Emergency! Barred Rock sleeping like others who died

Please take the advice to treat with Corid for coccidiosis. You have suffered a death, and another very ill. Don’t worry about using a natural product. Many people who have organic farms use Corid after experiencing deaths in the past. Corid (amprollium) is not an antibiotic, but a medicine that mimics thiamine (vitamin B1) in killing the coccdia oocysts. It will not harm chicks, and please treat your whole group.

If it is coccidiosis, why don't all the chickens have symptoms?
Even chickens from the same parent stock will have different genetic expressions... immunity is different among individuals... why does my family get the flu and I don't? It's the same thing. With anything you face... some may succumb while others may not.

They even found among the SAME flocks... 10% of birds carry 90% of the parasites.

While we were washing her butt she pooped. Here's what it looked like:

Now her butt is nice and clean.

Could be intestinal lining I think that is normal. Maybe someone else will know for sure.:fl

She is eating and drinking?
Are you brooding them in the house or outside?
What are the temps like?

Some chicks will go off feed and water, some will not. The severity of the illness depends on many factors, strain of coccidia, level of them in the digestive tract, how long it's been going on. The longer you wait to treat, the more damage that will be done to the digestive tract, and the more likely it will result in death. There is absolutely no reason to wait, Corid does NO harm and coccidiosis kills.

We moved them into the chicken "chalet" on the 19 of June. Recently the temperatures have been anywhere from low 90s to mid 70s.
She has had some feed and water since we separated her from the rest.

They may be getting chilled at night do you have heat lamp for them?

70's are fine for fully feathered but a little chillie if not fully feathered.

Did you find out where you can get corid in your area?

Did you get her Corid? She's gonna die if you don't ... Tractor Supply has it and I assume any feed store.

I've seen this before - the symptoms, the age at which the symptoms appeared - everything matches coccidiosis perfectly. You described everything so well, there is NO DOUBT it's coccidiosis.

We've done some more research and we think coccidiosis doesn't exactly match what we're seeing. She's behaving more like our Red Ranger who is the same age.
On the 16th of this month we found the Ranger sitting by herself and not moving much. We brought her inside and she didn't eat anything all day. She exhibited strange behavior by standing in the corner of her box with her knees locked and her face to the floor like she couldn't balance right. She also slept most of the time. Her poop has never been alarming.
We tried feeding her all sorts of food and liquids but it wasn't until the next evening, when we softened some rolled oats with water, that she ate. Now she eats enthusiastically and drinks water by herself. She still doesn't move much but now she stands more and sits normally.
It also looks like E. coli has some of the things we're seeing. Here's a list of its symptoms: "listlessness, ruffled feathers, depression, decreased appetite, cough, and labored breathing. Yellowish colored droppings, diarrhea, and soiled vent openings are also common in more severe cases."
We have not bought any corid.
Also, both birds have flown up to the edge of their respective boxes, which doesn't sound like something a dying bird would do.
She doesn't seem any worse, so we'll see how she is in the morning.
