Today i discovered one of my chicks with her beak weird and lost it when i saw this growth that is across most of the roof of her mouth. This grew all of a sudden i dont understand what it could be. No other chick is showing anything similar.

I have separated her, and in the pictures the oily stuff is triple antibiotic. I washed her comb and tumor with hydrogen peroxide and then applied the ointment because idk what else to do. I've been researching and it seems to be either wet pox or canker but i have no clue how to tell the difference. It doesn't smell particularly weird which i read is a sign of canker. Please i am so scared for this chick. Besides this tumor she would appear fine. Fights me holding her, eating like food will be taken away, so those signs are giving me hope she will recover. Any help, please it would mean a lot.

Did this happen suddenly? Like, how long has she had this? Never? Or have you just not seen her in a while? Usually growths aren't sudden, but steady.

She had the redness in her comb for around 2 weeks now. I figured a bug bit her and left it a bit swollen. I then worried a bit around the second week and put some antibiotic ointment on it in case. Then I have let them out every day but haven't kept close tabs on them due to heavy rains, so I just rush in whenever the rain starts again and put them in their little coop separated from the flock. I'd say it's been 3-4 days that I haven't checked on her well.
