My pullet has a hooked beak and I trimmed it, but we cut too far up and she started bleeding all over. I tried putting cornstarch and flour on it, I tried ice cubes, and I even tried some new skin. It won;t stop bleeding, and I don;t have any of the store-bought bloodstop from the pet store. Please help, I don't know what will happen to her if we can't stop the bleeding. We isolated her in a crate with no food or water, but is that the right thing to do?!

Hello, don't panic. Most bleeding stops with direct pressure. Hold the chicken still and just press your finger over the bleeding spot for several minutes. Don't worry about applying anything over the area for now. If area still bleeds after five minutes, just hold longer.
