EMERGENCY!!!! Chick might die!!

I need help again!!! This hatch is going to be the death of me! The broody mom abandoned the rest of the eggs, and one was already half way hatching, and got too tired and cold to continue. I helped it out of the shell, but it was all bloody around it's rear and bleeding pretty badly, but all yolk was absorbed. I immediately stopped the bleeding and got it warm and dry. It's chirping really loudly, and might flop about, but that's all... Anything I can do, and do you think it will make it?
I have had a few babies like that, and for me they all lived, we never had any death by injury, is she eating and drinking well, is it acting normal?

Not really eating and drinking, and I think she's spraddle legged.... I made a bandaid brace, and that helped her to be able to sit upright. I think if she could walk, she would be acting fine, because she likes to flop around and chirp incessantly. I introduced her to the broody, and that went well. Hopefully her legs get stronger soon

I hope it all ends well, poor little baby. Keep an eye on her and if she starts to get weak feed and water her by hand and if so with a dropper. C:

Unfortunately, this may be why your hen abandoned the egg. Sometimes animals can sense when one of their offspring is deformed or can't survive for one reason or another. It is us humans who think that we should help every single chick regardless of their viability. I've learned to trust my mamas with the jobs that nature has given them. Very rarely have they been wrong.

It might be... However, the previously hatched chick had fallen out of the nest, so I'm inclined to think that's what happened. I checked on the chick this morning, and it's in good spirits and flops about happily, but still can't walk. Might end up culling

I would get it under a heat lamp in a broader as well with your remaining eggs (if you don't have an incubator. I've had to hatch 3 eggs that way and they all lived. You can also get a heating pad for extra warmth. Good luck! I'm also very sorry for your loss.

Give it more time. Are your nesting boxes on the ground or up high?

I made a splint for it's legs, and within 15 hours, it's now walking without any help! It's with the broody, and she's taking good care of it. Where she was, the nest boxes were ground level, but the chick was falling out of the coop, and that's over a foot off the ground. I just moved her and the two chicks to the broody pen where everything is the same level.

Oh good! I'm happy to hear the good news.
