Did either vet suggest surgery? I suspect she might have salpingitis, which is an infection of the reproductive tract. Surgery is very expensive, as in over $1000, so it's not an option for most people. certainly is not an option for me.

Call you vets and ask about doing blood work up and X-rays.

Spoke to the vet and he said regardless of the results he’s keep her on the same medication. He is not even offering me surgery as Ann option. We have no vets near us which specialise in Chickens so now I’m at a loss of what to do as I obviously want to do everything I can to help her

Is she still on the Baytril? What state do you live in?

Surgery in chickens can be very risky at best, since they do not tolerate anesthesia well. Besides costing a fortune, it could kill her. I have never had a chicken go through surgery, but many here on this forum have had chickens die trying to do various procedures. Unfortunately, these and other types of reproductive disorders are very common in laying hens.

I’m so sorry. I feel pretty confident stating your poor girl has salpingitis, which can sometimes be treated with antibiotics. I hope extended use of the Baytril helps her.

I'm thinking that if it is something that medicine can fix that Baytril would have done the job.
I am sorry I don't know what to say.
I have never seen something like this laid on multiple days.

From all the reasearch I’ve done and all the vets I’ve seen I think it’s best to finish the course of antibiotics she’s on and then just hope for the best. Thank you anyways

Is she still on the Baytril? What state do you live in?

No she is now on meta cam and kesium tablets. We live in Bristol
