I've never gotten anything from a fox and I've handled a many over the years but I'd wash up real good.

Foxes don't wear a watch. I've trapped and shot them at all times of the day and night.

I can. I don’t kill them myself, but I don’t mind in the least when a trapped raccoon is executed.

I understand. I grew up trapping and hunting so doesn't bother me.

You can poor some peroxide on the wounds, that will help clean them and keep out the infection. This same thing happened to one of my hens once. The hen had bite marks on her back and she was in shock. Sadly she didn’t make it; however, I think she may have had internal wounds as well. Hopefully your hen makes it! You will probably want to set a trap. The fox will return now since he thinks he had found some “easy meals”. They are sneaky little suckers! If you can’t find a trap, you could just sit out on the porch with a shot gun in hand. Good Luck!!

im worried about her.
is there any herbs to give her or any think to calm her down.
i have given her water with a small amount of salt and sugar,
also he has her mouth open after she drinks water but she does not seem to be gasping

I have given my chicken tumric in coconut oil with some macadamia nuts.
