Hopefully that will fall off, and her new feathers will come in to make her pretty again. The new feathers may be very attractive to the other chickens, though, so you may need to put some BluKote or Nustock on it while they come in. Please post another picture when her feathers grow in because it helps others with injuries like that to see how well they can do.
 
The scab was off this am. I put blukote on the nice pink skin because it looked to fresh, and I was afraid that the other girls would get her again. That stuff is sure a mess to work with, her comb is now black and she shook her head and got it all over me and it took over an hour of scrubbing to get it off my face, lol. I guess I will never doctor a chicken again by myself. From now on it's a two person job no matter what!!
