Yeah, it is sad. But this is part of nature, too, unfortunately. Did it die?

Unfortunately it died this afternoon. I have had the worst luck with chicks this year.

We are just grateful that we have four healthy fluffy nuggets. This was the first year we had a broody hen, and I didn't want to stop a hen for hatching some babies.

I’m so sorry to hear that. I’m glad the mama has 4 fluffy chicks to take care of though.
