Emergency!! Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    My broody BO just got killed by a dog and now I have 2 chicks and no incubator or brooder or anything!! One of them is injured and can't move it's leg and I have no idea how to fix it! How do I keep them warm?! They are a week and a half old. I posted this somewhere else but I thought you guys might know. Help!!!!!!!!!

    Do you have a light you can put them under? Or even a heating pad? you can put them in a big rubbermaid tote with a heating pad or heat lamp. As for the leg i don't know how to help there. Best of luck to you, so sorry for your loss. (BTW heat lamps are only about $10-15 at Walmart, Lowes and HomeDepot)

    They're now in a dog crate with food, water, and a heating pad set to medium. Anything else?

    I agree with a heating pad or a hot water bottle till you can get to the store. If your that concerned wrap them in a towel and bring them with you to keep them warm. Whats the worst they're going to say? "get your chicks out of our store"
