Emergency. Need help. *graphic image*

I agree with rebrascora about it being a possible large lash egg blocking her vent and causing the protrusion. When they are completely egg bound, they can’t poop. Sorry this has happened. I wish you could get the egg to pass with some manipulation. If your neighbor puts her down, maybe they could just open the belly to take a look, and take pictures. I recently did a necropsy on a hen that died, and she had a large lash egg, the first I had seen. Here is a good article that shows what lash eggs look like:
