EMERGENCY!!! Night coming! Bantam Chicken on The Roof!!!!

Bad news. He was inching towards me very slowly and occasionally bunching as if he was going to jump. He went to the lowest point of the roof and bunched for about a minute. He turned around and just sat down. I had to go inside, he gave up. 😰

The weather says that it will be 10 Fahrenheit at midnight and the wind will be 2mph. Will he be ok? I have chickens that can endure 10 below but that is with other chickens warming them up and no wind blasting them.
Edit- He was also in a tree all day so he has no food in his crop.

Oh no! Hmmm....is there anything like a long pole or something you could sort of "sweep" him off with? If he is still at lowest point of roof pitch? Then toss a blanket over him once he lands? We have used a long-handled fishing net taped to a clothes-line pole to get a hen off of a branch too...

It is pitch black and I can't go outside. The garage is very tall, like two stories high or more.
