6-8 week silver laced Wyandotte got stuck in a fence and the older girls pecked her. Open wound on both wings and back of head. Skin is definitely open, but bleeding is stopped. Separated her with electrolytes and food. She's eating and had a drink. Acting normal, but wants to be held. Also have vetericyn antimicrobial poultry spray. Should I use it? Also have peroxide, but seeing how clean it is and that it stopped bleeding, I was thinking of skipping it. How should I proceed? What can I expect?

It's good you separated her from the others, this is a good first step. Hydrogen peroxide can damage soft tissues and skin in chickens and should only be used as last resort if at all. I would wash the wounds with soap and water. Chickens are hardy creatures and if she's eating and drinking that's a good sign. Continue keeping her seperated and be sure to provide a heat lamp. Give wounds ample time to heal, re-introducing her before they're fully healed can cause the others to peck the old wounds again. I once had a chicken injured in the head that survived and even thrived, some blood got in one of its eyes and it was blind in one eye, but the wound to the head healed nicely and it went back to its normal life. The antimicrobial spray says it's for poultry so it might be safe but idk. Read the packaging and see what it says about chickens and chicks and what warnings it has and what its prescribed use is.
