My Bantam Rooster, Charlie, was just attacked terribly by one of our bigger roosters. He has several injuries, especially on his comb. Part of his comb is half ripped (the back part). We don’t really know what to do, he keeps shaking his head and it’s tearing more and splattering blood. The part that is torn has turned black. My mom wants to use super glue. Or cut it off. If we glue it, is it toxic? And if we cut it, will it hurt or grow back?? Or any other ideas? Please? If you need a picture, feel free to ask.

I would actually try the super glue. It would bond the wound together.
Your rooster will have to be put in a safe, quiet, warm place to recover. Once he stabilizes you can clean the blood off of him.
Yes, you need to calm him down and stop the bleeding. Wrap him in a towel.

Thank you guys!! This has been really helpful! These pictures are of after we cleaned all the blood off of him.
