Emergency!!!! Please Help!!!

My Bantam Rooster, Charlie, was just attacked terribly by one of our bigger roosters. He has several injuries, especially on his comb. Part of his comb is half ripped (the back part). We don’t really know what to do, he keeps shaking his head and it’s tearing more and splattering blood. The part that is torn has turned black. My mom wants to use super glue. Or cut it off. If we glue it, is it toxic? And if we cut it, will it hurt or grow back?? Or any other ideas? Please? If you need a picture, feel free to ask.
Please post some photos of the injuries.

Combs bleed a lot and it look bad, but just stop the bleeding first then see how much damage there actually is.

If it's bad enough that you think it needs to be glued, then likely cutting it off would be better. It will not grow back if cut off. Gluing likely will not work.

How long ago did this happen?
Has it stopped bleeding?
Can you take a video?
We’re not for sure how long ago this happened, we just heard him screaming and saw him put in the street. At first I though he was hit by a car, but it didn’t look like that, and the other rooster had blood along his beak, but no injuries. I can take a video

Thank you guys!! This has been really helpful! These pictures are of after we cleaned all the blood off of him.
Thanks for the photo. He looks o.k. to me. I would just wipe off the blood and let him be.
No gluing, no cutting.

Super glue might work.

Cutting off the damaged part of the comb could also work.
The cut-off part will not grow back.
Yes, cutting it will hurt the bird (he will feel pain)--but he's already hurting, and cutting it off might let him heal faster, and avoid having it tear loose again.

Look up "dubbing" roosters. It means cutting off the comb and wattles, and people do it to Old English Game roosters and other kinds that were once used for cockfighting.

Seeing how they cut off combs, and what they say about the birds healing, could help you figure out whether it's a good idea to cut off the injured part of your rooster's comb.

Your pictures posted while I was typing. It looks to me like the "black" part is just from blood scabbing--he might heal just fine with no treatment, if you keep him where other birds cannot mess with it while it heals.

Combs have a lot of blood, which means they bleed a lot, but it also means they heal quickly.

I would at most apply some plain antibiotic ointment like neosporin topically. He looks fine. I definitely wouldn’t try cutting anything off as that will just result in more blood loss. Comb injuries can look awful and bleed a lot, but are very recoverable. Keep him separated from the other Rooster though for sure

Can you get a close up of the torn area? My boys will occasionally get into little scraps and it often looks far worse than it actually is

Here is the tear. He shakes his head almost as if he’s trying to get something off his head, and that makes the tear worse. When you set him down he tries to back out of it, like he does when we used to put his collar on. It goes farther up the comb.

To me this looks superficial... but if it’s fully detached I might be inclined to remove it

Maybe... but be looks great to me, honestly
I think most of the blood came from this

Just wipe it off and stop the bleeding it will be fine. He's just trying to back out of it because he feels the blood running on his head.
