EMERGENCY!!!! Question HALF UNZIPPED

Half Unzipped for At Least 3 hours possibly more should I help?

I wouldn't, yet. They will often take breaks in hatching. How long has it been trying to hatch? Some hatch very quickly 3hrs. Others take 24+ hours.

It cracked the shell 24 Hours ago but Unzipped sometime over night. It has been at school over night so I dunno when he offically half unzipped.

I cant see him moving at all!!! my humidity was down a little so I dropped a wet sponge in. Worried it was to dry... EEEK!!!

The one that was stuck died. We helped it unzip just a little and when we go no reaction or movement we figured he had expired. The membrane was so tough. The humidity is running around 68% so we added a couple of wet sponges b/c the membranes are white and thick looking on the two that have pipped. Do you all think that is the right thing to do? They are still chirping and moving so fingers crossed!!!
