I would like to try to feed them unlimited, but I don't know how that will go. When we put down a bowl they run towards it and within a minute (or less
) it is empty. If that container were twice as full, it would probably take 2 minutes. But at some point they start overeating themselves I think. I'm a bit afraid that extreme overeating will not have a positive effect either.
They do move quite a bit because they have a lot of space but they also nap a lot and eat grass...
I understand that they do not survive on only grass but it is also more as an extra.
So we were already thinking a bit towards the food, but I think it remains a bit of a guess. It's only happened three times so it's hard to figure out what it is because the other days were the same and nothing happened then. Perhaps it is also a genetic problem, but there is probably nothing that can be done about it. In any case, it is not temperature related because they were very different every time.
