10 wks old D'uccle mix pullet. Loss of balance, looks like possibly splay leg the way both legs kick out to the side. What do I do to help?

Chick has been fed medicated fed since they got it. Have given endocox but symptoms haven't changed.

Loss of balance. Seems slightly sleepy. Trys to walk but can't get its legs under it . I am advising poultry cell but what are the doses? For direct dose? Is poultry cell enough if this is a vitamin deficiency?

I don't think it's getting enough to eat. Would love someone else input on how to proceed.

Any way you can get photos of the chick or a video of movements?

You mention giving medicated feed and endocox. Most all medicated feed in the U.S. contains a small amount of Amprolium which is a coccidiostat. Endocox is also a Coccidiostat.

Do or Did the chicks have Coccidiosis?

Not getting enough to eat - is she chick able to eat? What do you see that makes you think it's not getting enough - is it being bullied, have a cross beak, etc?

Was the chick vaccinated for Marek's?

Work on hydration and eating. If you think vitamin deficiency and want to give Poultry Cell, dose is 1cc per 3 pounds of weight direct dose once daily.

I advised to treat for Coccidiosis because I am aware that corid does not work for every strain. The chick is part silkie and knowing that it's been on medicated feed for quite a while and now is presenting with these issues I'm think vitamin deficiency. It can't keep its legs under it and trys to stand but can't get up. It is also curling its toes. The chick seems weak and isn't eating. It was isolated from the flock for observation. I doubt it was vaccinated as it was purchased from a local breeder as far as I know. The crop feels empty. I will try to forward videos of the chicks. Not sure I will be able to though.

Also- the endocox was given several days ago when all this first started. We had had rain heavily and it's been very humid. The symptoms presented about 6/7 days post the beginning of all the rain. It seemed like a logical assumption given it's age and the environmental conditions.

Is there a way without testing to rule out Marek's? Like are their specific things to look for that would point more to a deficiency then Marek's?

I am trying to help but am not terribly familiar with what is going on in this particular case.
