emergency!!!!

We have a mixed batch in the incubator. It's a self turning one. I took out the tray so they wouldn't turn any more usually all is fine, however the stupid thing that turns the tray crushed an egg!!! There was a little blood and I can see my little baby serama inside. It's day 20. Does my little one stand a chance if I just leave it be?

If it was a small amount of blood and you keep the humidity up and keep an eye on the membrane at the crack for signs of it drying out there's always a chance. (You may want to, if you have it, put a little Bacitracin along the crack to help keep the membrane moist.) Good luck!

Well chick update. Roughly 12 hours on she's still going. Still in the egg. Still see the occasional wriggle. My humidity is 70ish, and iv placed damp cotton wool over the crushed shell and open bit. So fingers crossed it's working so far! It's 5 am now and I can't sleep with worry! I put less effort in it child birth I'm sure!
