Hopefully, the polish chicken will find another friend. It is sad when they choose friends they were raised with, and then suddenly one is gone. My polish hen lost a couple of her buddies, silkies and a mille fleur rooster, and became a loner. Maybe a new silkie will befriend her.

My other silkie hen has made friends with her and my Jersey giant hen has made friends with her. My hens are becoming trouble makers. I came out the other morning to find them all on top of the coop. My roos were just looking at them from across the yard. So she is doing better now.

The photo is right after a hurricane and so our yard is still being picked up. Excuse the mess. Lol
