I'm on day 11 of a hatch. I just candled my eggs and one of the chicks seems to be stuck to the shell! It's moving around for the most part, but doesn't float to the center and back. It stays right where it is. How do I un-stick it? Is it viable? What do I do?

Are you turning your eggs regularly? There is nothing you can do to 'unstick' this embryo other than to turn the eggs three times a day or have them on an automatic turner and hope it unsticks itself. If you try anything else more drastic, you are likely to kill the embryo.

I'm turning them 3-5 times a day. I just got an automatic turner that will rotate them 6 times daily. This is the first time I've had this happen so I wasn't sure if I could do anything. I guess it's just a hope and pray thing now.

The auto turner is a huge difference and turns the egg's better then you ever could and no opening the incubator .......
