Oh geez, what is going on with these strange afflictions, weird attacks and, crazy deaths happening?! Lately, even for myself, it has been a total and, complete nightmare!
You and, your little girl/duck baby are in my thoughts and, prayers today. I wish you nothing but the absolute best!! I hope mine pulls through as well

Well, my chicken is doing amazing! She’s enjoying her time inside while she heals. My duck on the other hand isn’t doing so good. They released a lot of air and found some masses in her bottom which they thought were fluid filled cysts. They sent in a sample of the fluid collected from a cyst so we should know the results of that next week. They suggested that there is a leak somewhere internally creating the air. They said that if they released some and she immediately filled back up, it’s more concerning. But if it doesn’t then it might not be as severe. However, by last night she was full again. :’( she is very unsteady so generally just stands leaning up against something when resting. She’s alert otherwise! Drinking and eating for the most part. They mentioned possibly having emphysema and an oviduct disease? It’s been 3 years since she starting looking saggy and bloated. This year is the first time where it’s gotten worse and bothered her. Otherwise she’s gotten around fine and acted completely normal. I just have no clue what it could be or how much time she has left or if there’s anything that can be done to save her. :’( there is talk about humane euthanasia, but I would like to figure out what is wrong and explore options before that. :’(
