Yeah, ever heard the saying "The world would be a much better place without religion!" There's so much war and disruption over religious disagreements, I think it's insane.

I am a sort of Christian. I believe in God, and what the bible says, but I don't go to all lengths to be all rod-up-my-backside about my beliefs.

Sounds quite sensible, and it probably saves you a lot of time too.

It's sad that they teach people have to be peaceable, then go out and go get anyone who doesn't share their beliefs.

What? Good Christians, like, REALLY good Christians don't go out and get onto people. Have you ever even MET one? Like in person? Have they ever even done anything to you? Yes, us Christians have our flaws, were human aren't we? I'm CERTAINLY not saying we are perfect. No, no no. Not in a million years. Well, unless we are a Saint, but thats a different story. I'm not perfect, My parents are certainly NOT perfect, nobody I know is perfect. I do have my "Moments" where I get really mad, and I say or do mean things, but, you know, Not perfect. Anyways, I get really "Excited" When it comes to my Faith, and well, when people say things sort-of, against it (I'm not saying you were!) I go crazy, and well, that is basically what happens. And since I'm going to get Confirmed soon, I feel a Bigger responsibility of Defending my faith.

I think the mods were right to set a rule against religious topics. It tends to get a bit stressful.

ABSOLUTLY!!!!! It's weird, because it's usually Only highschoolers, But Our Priest asked the Bishop if the Latin mass community ( I go to Latin mass) children could get confirmed early, since alot of the People are like, REALLY good Catholics. So the Children are a bit more knowlged in the Faith. Yeah, it's pretty cool.

That sounds cool. I like being in a religious congregation, because I make some nice friends there and I'm always bumping into them all oevr the place!

its weird this went into two pages of religious talk.. . with a universe that has no known ends its kinda hard to believe a tiny insignificant planet like earth would be the only livable planet. a belief in god is a belief in an all powerful being/energy force. this"god" would not only be god of humans on earth but of the whole universe.. i just find it hard to believe that only earth would be choosen and the rest of the universe just discarded and left devoid of life...i am not christian but i am very very devoted to my religion. my beliefs dont say that there are aliens but it says the chances are great that they exist.. pure consciousness doesn't just reside in humans but in all gods creatures and in all gods kingdom which includes the universe and things we will never see or know. so the possibility that another form of life may exist in a universe so vast we will never know its ends is pretty great..IMO
