Hey guys just wanna know ..
In the morning how a healthy empty crop feels like ..
When I check in the morning crop is empty but there's some sort of liquidly feel is it normal?

An empty crop feels as though there is no crop. You should feel only the chest wall. I there is something squishy in the crop in the morning before a chicken gets down off the roost, that is a signal there is an issue with the crop. Checking the poops under the roost where that chicken spent the night will give you further information about what the crop issue might involve.

No poops at all might indicate an impacted crop, as would scat, hard , dry poops. A liquid puddle of poop laced with white mucous and bits of green matter might indicate sour crop.

Behavior will tell you even more information about how the chicken is feeling. A stationary, mute chicken facing the wall or corner with tail held low and flat will tell you the chicken is sick or in pain.

When chicken eat less or eat nothing at night will be less poops?
How do u treat sour crop?

My chicken's crop get empty but afterward there's no solid things when u touch but some sort of liquid is there after digestion

After a night of not eating anything, the crop should be perfectly empty, even of liquids. There should be a small pile of solid poops under the perch where the bird slept. The poops are from what the bird ate the day before.

If these poops are watery, especially if it has green things in it, it means the chicken isn't eating much, and perhaps the crop is going yeasty.

Few week ago my chicken was on antibiotic course and stop eating after the treatment of antibiotics but liking the milk and bread I never had squishy crop always an empty one after milk n bread from 2 days crop is squishy by I give him Plain Yoghurt which he eats on itz own and some boiled rice with yoghurt he eats but other thing he just refused to eat ..tomorrow I'll start the ACV in water Pls any suggestion will work there's no Sour Smell No Odor No Gurgling Sound ..His poops are solid
Just a squishy thing
I don't want to give him medication again

Antibiotics upset the natural flora in the digestive system, so giving yogurt is a good decision. Try to be patient. Perhaps this chicken needs a bit more time for his crop to get back to normal after the antibiotics.

One thing to be aware of is if the crop continues to be squishy in the mornings, it could be because the crop isn't emptying fully each night. When this continues to be a problem, sometimes it's caused by pendulous crop, a condition where the crop hangs too low due to poor muscle tone for it to empty. If you see that the crop is hanging low like a bag of water, then this chicken may need a support device to hold the crop up higher so it can empty.

Yes u r right and after antibiotic he totally dont liking the food and after yoghurt treatment he mildly starting eating some boiled rice with yoghurt and his feed ..Im very worried because in this situation lot of things running in my mind but as BYC is so good place with lots of great people ..

Yes I'm withholding food tonight ..I never had sour crop don't know how to vomit him.and is it safe ..if need I'll tell my mother to do it but I hope I don't need that god

In the morning from 2 days .there's no food but a mushy feeling I don't feel food but yes after eating his crop became mildly liquidy I have a second rooster who had pendulous crop in his 16th week due to bullying and he lost all over his neck feathers and crop become so irrigated but it get back in shape when he fully feathered

Something you might try instead of vomiting is massage. Do it very gently in a circular motion while supporting the crop with your other hand. This will help the crop to empty.

Vomiting is dangerous because he could get the vomit in his airway and choke.
