Today my Ameraucauna laid what appears to be a soft shell with nothing inside (photos attached). It was all wet and shriveled up, but when I pulled it open it was basically empty. She was off a couple of days ago (lethargic, low appetite) and I chalked it up to my son spilling mealworms and she forged herself. She’s been basically back to normal since yesterday, but then laid the empty egg. I also noticed yellow/yolk-colored liquid in the nesting box today, but not right with the shell so I can’t be certain that hose were from her.

Any thoughts? I can’t seem to find much on this. I’m worried about egg yolk peritonitis, but she really seems okay. Abdomen isn’t firm or swollen. I don’t know what to think.

I'm not sure what that is. If she's acting fine, I would assume she's fine. Generally those with infections will act a bit lethargic. Caught early they may respond to antibiotics, but I personally wouldn't treat a bird without symptoms.
