Emu Babies For Sale in NC

Hello. We have baby emu's for sale that are set to hatch sometime in February. Our male emu starting sitting in December. They come from our female emu who laid around 50+ eggs last year We are located in Franklinton, NC. No guarantee of the sex, and we do not how many he will hatch out. First come, first served. Once they hatch they will be $60.00 per baby. We do not ship. They must be picked up. Only serious inquiries. We also have a beautiful 9 year old adult female emu for sale. She is very calm and likes shoes a lot. For her, I'm only asking $150.00. Will have to pick up.

could I come pick up the egg or the already heatched emu. And are they the same price
I think I will get a chick

lookes like everyone wants a emu
I'd love to but unfortunately I'm planning on moving sometime in the near future and the vast needs of these beauties would be a lot to put up, only to take down and put back up. I do have family that's been talking about getting these recently though and this seems like a wonderful opportunity to get started. I'm so excited for you @salshep20 and a little jealous :) They are absolutely gorgeous creatures that anyone would be lucky to keep. My cousin keeps ostriches and has a lot of fun with them (not saying they're the same of course). I love to watch them twirl!

I hear they have a lot of meat and huge eggs . And they just look like a really cool bird like I always dreamed as a kid having like a ostrich but i never knew u could own such birds like emus and ostrichis in the US

Well they're big birds, but they're not dinner birds in terms of meat or eggs. Takes a long time for them to get to their adult size and they aren't like chickens that lay you eggs to eat every day. They're more for people that want to watch them than people looking for something to eat
