Enclosing coop/run

We've looked at all our options, and after the suggestions on this board we are going to enclose the entire coop run area with a wood and hardware cloth frame. We're going to raise the coop about 2.5 feet, put on a new ramp of course, and something for perching, put a better barrier around the sunflowers, and also build a new door since the coop total height of the rebuild will be about 5 feet high.

Coop and garden area below. Does this sound like it'll work? I will more than likely paint the wood prior to building, as I really like the layout and bright colors in this area.... my "oasis"..

Looks to me like you've already got a good start. Sounds like your thinking right, but I'm no expert. Raising the coop sounds good and will make it easier on you for cleaning, etc. Keep us updated. I'm sure you'll get more feedback on your idea, but it looks promising to me.
