We live in Florida so we rarely have any "cold" temperatures. Therefore, we elected to go with lots of ventilation to keep the stock-pot girls comfortable during our hot and humid summers.

We aren't expecting to win any prizes with our coop, but we just wanted to share our design in case anyone else needs a well ventilated, well armored coop and run for a small flock in a suburban setting. Hope this helps somebody out there.
