Well they still have to count every ones eggs that were set, and they want to be 100% correct of the total. So they would be counting and counting and counting through all those pages several times. But I think it will be sometime soon since it has been a couple days.

The last eggs (button quail) are being set and recorded today. It will then take them a while to put together the total number and then see who won, I imagaine it's quite a big task.

Whoever is in charge of this should have been more clear - just because its in your head does not mean you communicated clearly - i read through and was not only one confused. How would one know there is a separate thread - it should have all been in same place as far as information needed for entire participation both guessing and submitting eggs

They were very clear. The other threads are for contests. It specifically states on the first page when to set your eggs for the NYD hatch. There are several links on the first page to take you to specific areas for guessing and submitting your eggs and pictures.. They did an outstanding job with 100's of people setting eggs, games, prizes, and entertainment. These people are not paid, they volunteer valuable time to make this a fun event.
I am sure you do not mean to sound like a whinny complaining negative person. I am sure you are delighted and happy to participate in a fun event and have an opportunity to win fabulous prizes.

I read through the enitire first page of this thread and then went to the link and read through all the different optional contests - still did not see anything on how to submit the number of eggs putting in incubator. It would be helpful for newbies wanting to participate to have the needed information in one place. The very first post in the thread says sorry for confusion - so I am clearly not only one confused and there are many comments on the other links of others asking for clarification. So I guess there are many "whinny complaining negative person" (s) on here.
Next year I will know to start looking for info much earlier.

I would say at points, things are confusing. If you look around, or ask, you can find the answers you need. The organizers have tried to keep things in an organized way, however, if you don't do your own research, you might miss out. It's meant to be fun. I was confused, I asked questions and looks around, found my answers, and I think this whole thing is great... And I couldn't be anything but thankful for people that are giving me a chance to get free things.
