Darn, we'll, since Barnevelders are an old world breed, chabces are you can probably find better stock than we can here. Plus they won't be as inbred.

I was watching a live q and a video from mcmurray yesterday, I asked the nice lady if there was someplace to see what breeds they would carry next year, she said the breed lists are usually updated in November but I think she said they weren't breeding the white sapphires next year. I could be mistaken with the blue sapphire rocks though.

I'd like a blue egg layer, but I don't want any red or gold birds -- black, white, black-and-white, blue, and lavender only.

I think bielefelder would match into my flock of BR & SS well. I like the look of Lavender Orp.

You can ask them in chat on their site, they're very helpful.
I prefer grayscale birds as well. I do love me a speckled sussex though.
