we're near great dunmow, essex. our chicks are 8 weeks old now and are so funny to watch

hi we're not actually sure what they are! all 4 seem to be different. we've posted some pictures on the breed and gender thread so hopefully someone will know! how about you?

I don't have chickens at the moment but I have 8 ducks. 3 adults and 5 ducklings we just hatched a few weeks ago. The adults are an Aylesbury - like jemima puddle duck, Cayuga - blue, green, purple metallic colour and their daughter. The ducklings are Indian runners.

Just had a look I have no clue but if you go on a thread called cross continental friends there are a few avid chickeners there that may know. They are some lovely and unusual looking birds

Aw wow, we love ducks and hoping to get some once we've got used to our chicks thank you for looking anyway, I'll post pictures on that thread then and see what comes up. Are you planning on getting chickens?

yeah we'd like to but im about worried about them trying to take a swim with the ducks and it not ending too well for them! Maybe they have enough brain power to realise it would be a bad idea!?

Aw wow they look great. Really friendly too by the looks of it. Lovely enclosure they've got. We've had so much rain the last few days our garden is starting to flood. Good job we only have ducks at the mo!
