You are lucky!! We have had so much rain my horse has been living in her turnout like she has to do in the winter - the ground is too soft on the field to take her. It is so unfair and makes the winter very long for her and me!!!

Hello, I am from Northern Ireland but I now live in Nova Scotia, Canada. The weather is a bit better here.

I got the chicken keeping bug from my mum who is still in Ireland but not on BYC as she still finds computers a pain in the hiney. Much prefers the company of her chickens LOL

Great to see so many uk members here..
 
We have just put a layer of sand in the run - after reading about it on here - and so far so good. Mind you - it has been fine this week so has not yet had a real test. I will let you know!!
