Enjoying the run and discovering watermelon

They sure got it dirty, lol mine love watermelon and get it every day. They also get grapes. Shredded cabbage and tomatoes. Fancy seeds with nuts raisins and fruit pieces, there feed and what ever we have for dinner lol

Does holding them on their back help tame them?? I notice with my silkies, they stay completely still when I hold the like your last pic.

try freezing it in ziploc baggies. when it gets hot out i just pull a bag out, pull off the ziploc and toss it over the fence. they go NUTS for it. and it cools them down.

Hahaha, I just gave my girls some watermelon and after a few fled and stared at it, they LOVED it. All gone!

Who knew they'd like watermelon!?

This is what mine did the first time they saw watermelon...They had no clue what they were supposed to do with it!

Here is a new picture of Lucy. She finally has most of her feathers in and looks like a Silkie now.
