Need help! What to do? My Brahma is 10 months old and has a crop that has been slowly growing over the past 5 months. It's as large as a girls softball. I don't think she's ever laid an egg, but she's such a pretty girl I hate losing her. I'm a Senior on a fixed income and can't afford a Vet. Any experts out there with some home remedies?

That is a pendulous crop. It's when a impacted crop becomes severe. If it's squishy and she is drooling, it might now be sour (yeast infection). It can be very hard to treat without a vet.

You could treat for sour crop & make her one of those "bras", search Pendulous Crop ... As for the Sour Crop .... Any of these may help ... Ketoconazole, Nystain, Monistat, lotrimine, miconazole; 1/4” 2x day for 7 days Monistat & Lotrimine are over the counter. IF you can't take her to a Vet, you can try treating yourself. Good luck & hope it works.

You should be able to treat her yourself. Good job coming here for help.
She may have impacted crop, sour crop, or both. Looks like it has progressed to pendulouscrop, and I agree a crop bra will help.

You will need to help her clear her crop, but I DO NOT recommend vomiting her, or the material can get into her lungs and cause other problems. You can give her little chunks of hardened coconut oil and gentky massage her crop to get things moving downward. As for the sourcrop, you can treat with vaginal yeast infection cream, but Zi don’tkbow the details. If you search the forum shere, you will find it. Good luck!
