Thanks for the welcome, lol...I am just concerend cause someone had said that only 10 if we have hard winters, and that doesn't allow for but 2 more.....

If you can cover your run to keep the snow out, they will be fine. I use PVC pipe and tarps. I have to go out and push the snow off, but it works. The more slippery the tarp, the better. I use a broom to push up on it to make the snow slide off. Mmmm... just thought of something! Put plastic over the tarp! Have the strength of the tarp and the smoothness of the plastic! Use black, then a little snow will melt. I have tarps that came off of lumber trucks. They are white on one side, black on the other. I turn them around for summer/winter.
