Helped my mom with trimming some blackberries that still has some fruit and removing sunflowers that were shading out her tomatoes today. I decided to take the trimmings home for my chickens (after the dog got to pick over the blackberries! 
) I stuck the trimmed bits through the hardware cloth, and much fun was had by the chickens! The sunflower heads hadn’t gone to seed yet, but they’re working over the leaves and loving the blackberries. Anyway easy entertainment for my chickens who can’t free range and should last a couple days.
