I have two hens on a 10-day course of enrofloxacin (one is Ruby, who we’ve been treating with hormones for over two years now!)
I also have three pullets, who are all laying, but seem paler in the combs than the older hens. One also has a slightly droopy tail. I’m wondering if they could have mild coccidiosis, as I’ve also seen runny, slimy poops.
Are Enrofloxacin and Aprolium contraindicated? Tomorrow is clean-the-waterers day and I was considering Corid water. Or maybe I’ll wait until Monday since they’ll run over and drink the neighbor’s cat water on the weekend.
