Hello! As you probably noticed, I'm fairly new to BYC.
The family and I have just purchased a house that comes with about a dozen chickens: half Plymouth Rocks (I believe), and half bantams of some sort. We've wanted chickens for years, and thought it would still be another year or more before we could finally raise some, so, I was a little worried about jumping into it like this. BYC has been an amazing source of last-minute information!
So, thank you! Thank you for being here, and for being awesome!
We will be seeing much of each other over the years, I'm sure.
