Entire flock dead overnight....locked in coop, no sign of predators

But was the bulb coated with Teflon?
By the sounds of it 'burning' on the outside I'm betting money it was the coating on the bulb. Do you have the packaging?
 
It was just the rooster on night one...the other 9 on night 2. Maybe the cord on night one and the lamp on night two? Just having the lamp on is toxic?
Burning Teflon fumes is toxic to birds. I have a parrot and parakeets. I gotta make sure my husband doesn't burn my pans cooking or he could kill my birds.
