enviro friendly products

i used to belong to Melaleuca and loved their products but it got hard to order the monthly minimum and after a year i dropped out. My son had butt problems as a baby and i made my own wipes using the melaleuca oil, even healed my older sons cuts with it.

I use newspaper with soy based ink for my toilet paper and then I recycle it in a large coffee can which then goes to the compost pile.

Their stuff is great but I know what you mean about making sure you order 35 points a month. The stuff is so good you still have it and do not need to order. I have told them their stuff is too good but they do not listen to me

Simply Green is a good cleaning spray for hard surfaces

White vinegar for fabric softener

I always see dish detergent thats environmentally friendly at the store but dont know names

pine needles for chicken beds to keep away mice and lites

use cornmeal for weed killer on grass, also it is 10% nitrogen to help fertilize soil

cornmeal is also good to get rid of cutworms, they eat it and cant metabolize it "ppof"

We use a lot of baking soda and white vinegar around here. I like some of the Seventh Genration products. Their toilet cleaner works well for me. I've noticed the dishwasher detergent issue also. I've used their laundry detergent and like it, but lately I've been making my own.
