Equal share of chores??? hubby humour

here is my husbands version of sharing responsilites. He bought 400sqf and i laid it. He cooks dinner" i cooked already you do the dishes" \\however when i cook(mon-sat)"Hey you cooked and made the mess, clean the dishes yourself",
he buys the parts for the harley i have to help him, because my fingers are tiny-but if i buy furniture i have to put together myself because he gets frustrated with it. grrr

d.k :

* My DH gets annoyed if I expect him to do much of ANYTHING other than going to work to get a paycheck. He DOES walk 'MY' dog once a day, take out trash and recyc once a week, mow the lawn once a month and fold the occasional load of laundry--badly!!!

I just LOVE this

Paycheck - check; walk my dog/s - X; take out trash - after it sets there 3 days *maybe*; recycle - H3ll no; mow the lawn ONCE a month - dead on; fold laundry - not a day in his life.
I am reading this off to him and he is laughing...I...not so much.

Too funny! My husband had horses before we got together but he doesnt anymore. I am grateful for that because I am sure that would be one of my "wifley" duties! It is my job to care for and clean up after all of our animals. I don't complain, he goes to work at 4AM, gets home at 8PM. However, he may have heard complaining if I had that duty!!

Or, you can pay the vet to do it while they are out floating and giving shots.

I've owned a horse every single day of my life and have never cleaned a sheath. I'll pay to have it done 'til I die!!!

Okay--don't tell my hubby this, but I really don't think it is THAT bad--as long as your horse cooperates. If you get over the mindset of what it is you are actually doing--(where your hand is going)--then personally--the clop clop clop sound they make is worse to me

I have a gf who turned green when I told her about the sound and what needed to be don to get rid of it.

Well unfortunately some of us haven't been so fortunate.

Those are my thoughts exactly....I told my husband last night...we will NEVER own a male horse...BUT, if we do, we will just have to PAY someone to do the duty. Not *I*
