The Wormout Gel can be hard to mix well in the water. Follow the instructions well and mix well. It has a strong orange flavor, and may not be liked that well. It is used for 2 full days in the water, which makes it easy to use.

Unfortunately nothing is FDA approved for tapes for chickens. You'll have to go off label.

The most effective treatment is the praziquentel. I have heard some use Safeguard (which is fenbendazole) for tapes, and that is (the last time I checked) FDA approved for chickens, but the chicken formula is very expensive...Aquasol.

But it sounds like you've ordered the Wormout which should get rid of the tapes and other types of worms.
