PS: I have two cockatiels already.....

Are you going to breed for meat or eggs to sell? For meat go with the coturnix. You need a higher female to male ratio so I would get at least 1 more female or more depending on what you are breeding for. You will eventually need an incubator for eggs but that is a few months down the road.

Welcome to the Quail forum on BYC!

High Five back to ya!!!!
Anyway, here is a link you should check out. You didn't mention what type of quail you are getting (if they weren't Buttonquail); that link has several threads with great information. I do not know a whole lot on King Quail, aka, Buttonquail, so I can't answer very much on that. The most important thing is to read as much as possible. The coolest thing about this site, is that besides all of the members with TONS of experience (because without them, this forum wouldn't exist), is that there is a "Search Discussion, Articles, and so much more" tool. Trust me, if you can think of a question, it's been asked here several times. Never be afraid to ask a question, because that is how you learn.
good luck and have fun!

and the quail forums! Great to have you aboard. What ever type of quail you chose to get, do your homework first so you know what you are getting into, LOL, and most of all ENJOY!

Oh...and PS...

Cockatiels make great broodies! Even the males. I have a couple of male Cockatiels that stay broody year round and would set on jellybeans if given the opportunity. LOL
