ERMINE & LEAST WEASELS?

These are the 2 types of weasels we have in our state. I was wondering how small (in inches) of hardware cloth do I need to keep them out (they look SO small in pictures)?

1/2 inch should do it but they make 1/4 inch if it makes you feel better. Weasels are almost everywhere and most use 1/2 inch.
