You should also see if the hatchery will do the right thing and send you replacement Cornish Cross to replace the Leghorns (but you might want to wait until you have space)

Good idea. However, with the staffing shortages like they are...I'm not clear if it was the hatchery or the farm fleet store that made the error. Yes, I agree we will get another batch of meat birds later in the summer. That was a good idea to sell them soon. Many folks now a days are looking but don't have the structure to be able to raise them to this point in their life. FB won't let us sell eggs or animals where I live but I feel confident that an ad at the country store down the road will work and take some pressure off the coop. Maybe our Father up above thinks this is a good idea for me. I really really appreciate your input. Thank you

Were the Leghorns males or females or some of both?
Because selling males to be layers just will not work well...
