i have netting over my chicken yard but they still find cracks and escape i have one laying in the tree row how do i stop her

There are two ways I do it. First I clip either the left or right wing's flight feathers (but not both, or they might learn to equalize the balance and still be able to fly). Second, I duct tape their flight feather together on just one wing and peel off the tape whenever I want (this does not hurt the chicken in any way).
