Can chicks get out of a 3 foot fence? By the way their a month old with clipped wings.

How old are these chicks? Breed? Game fowl chicks can fly at two weeks and get pretty good air time.

Yes they can get out! You should also not clip the wings at ONLY 4 weeks old!!!! The feathers are not fully developed yet.

I think it depends on the chicken.I have not had any issues with mine using a 4 foot or 6 foot fence.Perhaps they would fly to get away from an attack,but otherwise the only problem I had was them sneaking under the fence,
