establishing pecking order??

i put a couple of new pullets in the coop all are basically the same age about 11 weeks old within a few days how long should it take them to restablish pecking order? it has been about 5 days and the girls are still a little rough on the new ones

It's my understanding that pecking order issues are ongoing, kind of like how human siblings will continue to argue even once they're all grown up. If they aren't drawing blood or causing obvious injury, I wouldn't worry about it. The worst of it will probably work itself out at some point.

What kind of chickens are they? It's hard to tell the sex at such a young age. Maybe you have a few roosters?
