Either way he gets to stay, he is the only roo I have left after my puppy massacred most of the flock. I caught her with one of the hens today, and she was sneaky about it and got it in the corn field. I got to it in time, but the poor girl is missing her tail feathers.

Now that Lester is growing tail feathers and hackle feathers are coming in, I guess I have my answer. That is okay, I can use a roo in the house...hen house that is. thanks everyone.
